A year long class of basic beekeeping. This is our 12th year of teaching our local community about bees and their very important role in our environment. We offer individual or team learning. Classes begin every February and gives you a full year, every season of beekeeping.
INFORMATIONAL MEETING AND FLYER INFO BELOW
Advanced Beekeeping takes you beyond your first year of beekeeping. Learn about grafting, splitting your hives, broad biology of bees and how to turn your hobby into a business.
FOR 2021, WE WILL NOT BE OFFERING THE ADVANCED COURSE
We have been very lucky to have served this community for more than a decade. We have over 400 students that we have been able to meet and teach, as well as, form some long lasting friendships with. We hope to make many more! Our goal is to help build a community of beekeepers that can come together and work towards improving the information shared. Sadly, most new beekeepers quit keeping bees in their first 3 years because of failing hives. Come learn with us why hives fail and what you can do to be a long time beekeeper! Catch the BUZZ!
Beekeeping is a precious joy and leads to a pleasurable learning experience and lifetime friendships! We can't wait to see you!
